Two weeks before high school graduation, an 18 year old young woman visited the Bloomingdale Public Library late at night to return her books. She was later found brutally raped and brutally beaten half to death. After a series of strokes and going into coma, the victim is currently residing at an unknown Sarasota rehabilitation center. She is suffering from brain damage, unable to move nor speak, and is now blind. The victim's family is nearly bankrupt because of the situation. Without the proper care and therapy, she has a low chance of gaining full recovery.
(update 09/09/08 *GOOD NEWS: The victim has recovered 10% of her vision)
- A fashion show will be held at the Tampa Convention Center on Saturday, September 27th, 2008.
- There will be entertainment, food, & beverages.
- Please bring proper photo IDs for those who purchased tickets online.
- ALL ages are welcome, MUST BE 21 & Up to drink alcohol (please bring valid I.D.)
Dress Code is simply DRESS TO IMPRESS/GLAMOROUS.
Guys- NO white tshirts, NO tanks, NO shorts, NO sandals/flip flops, NO sneakers, NO hats. Dress shirts or Collared shirts are preferred.
Girls- NO flip flops/sandals, NO sneakers, NO hats. Dresses are preferred.
Doors open at 8PM; Fashion Show starts at 9PM. Seats are first come first served.
ALL proceeds will go towards the SunTrust Bank Bloomingdale Library Rape Assaault Victim Fund. The family will be able to use the money towards the medical/therapy bills.
